I wanted to do a project in 2018 about women in the Star Wars universe that would be positive and give me an excuse to spend more time devouring Star Wars content – especially content I have never seen/read/known about. The result is 365 Days of Star Wars Women. Every day I’m highlighting a new female character, actress, or crew member from Star Wars films, TV shows, books, comics, and more.

It’s a simple shoutout, but spreading the love about women in Star Wars I thought would brighten my year and perhaps yours as well. If it encourages people to check out a book, comic, or TV show they might not otherwise have known about – or to try and follow in the footsteps of a female Star Wars producer/actress/writer –  even better.

Every day on my twitter account, @amyrichau, I’ll have a tweet with the hashtag #365StarWarsWomen. My plan is to thread the tweets monthly – we’ll see how that goes. I’ll have the same information from the tweets on this website, in many cases with additional information.

I hope you enjoy following along and share your love of these women on Twitter and on this website.

If you have any feedback or suggestions for this project give me a shout at 365starwarswomen (at) gmail (dot) com.

May the Force be with you!

P.S. I am trying my best to link to books, comics, videos, articles, fan-made bios, etc. that I use to research all of these Star Wars women. I WANT people to use this site as a jumping off point and to go to the original sources to learn more about these women and characters.

This is a fan-made site not affiliated with Lucasfilm or any other entity. I do not claim to have copyright over the screenshot or promotional images included in this site and am using them under the Fair Use rule of U.S. Copyright law. If you have a concern about any images on this site or think I have missed a link or credit anywhere, please let me know at the email address above.

To support this project please check out my Ko-Fi page. All of the donations I receive will help pay for the hosting fees associated with this site, help me pay for research materials, and perhaps a babysitter now and then to keep it all going.
