Day 207 – Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman played Padmé Amidala in The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith. She won an Academy Award as Best Actress for Black Swan and has appeared in numerous other films including Annihilation, Jackie, Thor, and V for Vendetta.
In 2015 Portman wrote, directed and starred in the film A Tale of Love and Darkness. She also produced several films such as Jane Got a Gun and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and is executive producing the upcoming TV mini-series We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves (that she is also starring in).
Here’s an interview with Portman during the press tour for The Phantom Menace (she was about 16 when it was filming).
This is an interview Portman did earlier this year talking about visiting the set of The Last Jedi and her work in Annihilation.
And then, of course, there was this Star Wars SNL moment with Portman.
